Welcome Committee

This committee has the responsibility to plan a variety of ways to welcome visitors and new members of the parish. They host welcome events such as a quarterly pāʻina to meet and greet new church members (usually pūpū or a simple luncheon in the St. Michael Church lānai).

St. Michael the Archangel Feast Day

Held annually in September on the Sunday closest to the Feast of St. Michael the Archangel. Preparation begins several months prior to the event and requires a planning team. Many volunteers are needed to execute the plan for this parish celebration and social/fellowship event that includes the feast day Sacred Liturgy and parish hoʻolauleʻa.

Coffee & Donuts Ministry

Coffee & donuts are available after the 7:00am and 9:00am Holy Mass on Sunday to encourage fellowship among parishioners and welcome visitors. Volunteers are always needed to help set up and clean up.

We also seek volunteers for Sunday after the 11:00am Holy Mass in Spanish and once a month on Sunday at Immaculate Conception Hall after the 8:00am Holy Mass and at Holy Rosary Church after 10:00am Holy Mass.

Hospitality Ministers - Greeters

Hospitality Ministers serve as greeters at the entrance of our main church and her mission churches before Holy Mass and at special events to welcome our parishioners and visitors. They always greet our new visitors with a lei and a big smile :-)
